Hi, my name is Joanne and I'm a passionate caring level 3 fully qualified dog groomer based in Elsenham. I originally completed my qualification at the College of Animal Welfare to groom my own and friends dogs and with my husbands help built a fully equipped dog grooming salon at our home. For 12 years I was working in a care home looking after adults with learning difficulties and I was unexpect

edly made redundant when the home closed. This adversity gave me the push I needed to set off on a journey to do what I am so passionate about and truly love doing.

Welcome Annie to VIPooch Dog grooming today. Annie was a champ and didn't really need much support throughout her groom today as she had adapted well to have three functioning legs.

I ensured that Annie was given frequent rest and water breaks to assist Annie to have a stress free groom as possible.

Lovely seeing Alfie the rough coated Jack Russel mix again in for a bath, blow dry at V-I-Pooch Dog grooming.
Alfie is a rough coated Jack Russell mix, he had a gentle hand strip and tidy with thinning scissors was applied to the coat to keep his colour and texture of coat looking natural.
Alfie had his ears cleaned, hygiene area trimmed, eyes cleared of hair and nails clipped to keep Alfie healthy and happy.

Lenny the Show Cocker Spaniel puppy visited V-I-Pooch Dog Grooming parlour today. Lenny played with his toys to put him at ease and to start to build trust and confidence in the grooming environment.
During Lenny's session he was introduced to the noise and air flow of the dryer, scissors and clippers switched on without blade to safely expose Lenny to the noise and vibration.
Lenny was really brave and with a few treats sprinkled in the bath, he enjoyed an investigatory sniff and checked out the bath and the grooming table.
Lenny's parents have really worked hard to introduce him to brushing which really showed by the tolerance he demonstrated when a short brushing session was trialed.
Lenny has one more induction session booked next week and his puppy groom the week after.

Well done Lenny, you star x

Welcome Toby to V-I-Pooch Dog Grooming. Toby is a very calm 7 year old Boarder Jack.
Toby was pampered today with two warm water baths using speciality dog shampoo and conditioner, he had his nails trimmed, ears cleaned, and coat clipped and scissored to tidy, with a spritz of doggie cologne Toby was ready to go.
