💒Reggie’s special day 💍

I’m fighting every urge to post every photo of Reggie at his mam and dad’s special day! However, I just know the photographer will have captured them 10 times better… so patience is key!
So for now a little BTS picture of Reggie looking absolutely handsome in his wedding attire at the beautiful The Byirs at Derwent Reservoir! This location was absolutely gorgeous and this boy didn’t put a foot wrong all day!
I’m so excited to share some of the gorgeous pictures we got! 📸

Gutted to have lost another day of walks with today’s temperatures being higher than expected! But as always, dog welfare will always come first! 🐾

This summer has definitely been a scorcher, and I honestly can’t thank you all enough for your continued support, patience and understanding when the weather throws a spanner in the works! ☀️

I’m oh so super excited to welcome some cooler weather for some fantastic adventures planned 🌲 ⛰️

🤚🏻Hand feeding! ✋🏻

I recently realised that Linus doesn’t get a huge amount of exposure to road sounds or traffic noise because most of our walks are through quiet fields and woodlands. (Which is great however, situations arise where the world won’t be as quiet as we are used to, especially living next to a road.) Since loud engines and the local boy racers are something that can make him a little nervous, I thought it was the perfect opportunity for a hand-feeding training session!

I started hand feeding Linus a couple of months after I got him and honestly, the difference it made was amazing. It strengthened our bond, improved his food drive, and really boosted his obedience! Hand feeding every meal has also allowed me to teach basic commands, more challenging commands and also helped me slow down his food intake… this boy WOLFS his food!! 🥘

This evening we took the chance to work on some settle training indoors at the March Hare before heading outside to hand feed his tea next to the busy road through Tindale. By asking for simple, familiar commands in a more challenging environment, we’re helping him build confidence and learn that the big scary engines aren’t so scary!

It’s never going to be a quick fix, but every little session is another step towards creating a diverse dog that can conquer the world!! 🌍

Ps. Excuse the post work outfit, I’m not one to dress to impress especially after a day of walking🤣👗
