So folks this is a difficult post, it is possible that we have already said goodbye ( we prefer see you soon ) to some of our lovely dogs and owners , however ,for many it will be our final day tomorrow 30th september 2022.
Steve and i are blown away with your lovely cards ,messages and gifts , it is amazing to us to see how much we have been appreciated by everyone.

We are taking on another chapter in our lives and it ticks so many boxes for us ,
Dogs, dachshunds and rescue. We would like it to be “see you soon “for now , were still on the same number and please dont hesitate to contact us if we can be of help , please bear in mind our new postcode is DN8 !

Mr Hugo
Hugo has walked with us for over 9 years, he was a selective deaf pup with no recall in the early days and he got me into many difficult scrapes 😱, we came to an understanding over the years . Today we shared our last walk , it was a bit of a party with lots of treats and we met up with his long time partner in Crime Mr Herman ( they where originally known as the terrible twosome ) the mornings antics had to come to an end . I dropped him off home , as I posted him into the hallway ( he normally trots off ) he turned around and came back to me and just stood by my side ….

We would just like to assure everyone that as usual when we have heat there is a certain routine we keep ;
The car is air conditioned at all times of the journey , we drive to wooded areas where we can do shaded walks, quite often there is access to a stream / pond , the walks will probably be shorter and in smaller groups and water is offered throughout. There is never pavement walking , hard ground , pavement etc only on access and disembarking from the car .
This is what I do for steve so only seems correct to do for the pooches too 😊
