Hi folks due to the shocking rise in the heating bill for the kennels and rising cost of everything we are now unable to offer a 10% discount on dogs sharing. Also can I remind folk drop off is in the afternoon from 3pm to 5pm and collection is in the morning from 10am till 12. This allows me to deep clean before the next boarder arrives. On Sunday we close in the afternoons so drop off and collection is from 10 till 12 midday.

Hi folks, this week we have had a lot of dogs and cats delayed due to the weather. Don't worry as we will always make sure your pet is well looked after until you are able to make it home. We have also had our first no show of 2026. PLEASE PLEASE let us know if you are not going to bring your pet in. This loss of income has a significant affect on our kennel bills for heating oil , hydro etc. It is also really bad manners just to not turn up, I had turned folk away for the Easter break, at least if folk let me know they have arranged a neighbour I could have given the kennel to someone else. I am now keeping a banned list for folk who do this. 😪😪

Hi folks Happy New Year to everyone. The roads out this way are not great with lots of black ice. We have had a few boarders stuck due to the bad weather, if your pet is boarding with us don't worry, just keep us updated with how everything is going. We will all ways make sure every individual boarder is cared for until you can make it home. Meanwhile we have pre-school class in the office this morning. Boarders are always come into the office as part of their enrichment with supervised play. 😍😍 This morning as in every morning lately it's Fara, Meg and Tilly 🤣🤣 Fara desperate for Tilly to come down and play lol

Hi folks, well the festive season is nearly upon us, we are working over the festive period taking care of boarders and making sure they have a good festive season as well. There will a few changes for 2026 at the kennels and cattery. We have invested in CCTV to further protect boarders that are here and obviously to protect the farm livestock we have.

- Unfortunately we are having to increase our prices for 2026. From January boarding for one dog per night is £20 per dog For cats it will be £16 per cat per day. For single day bookings it will be £25.
- We will no longer be doing show arounds in the kennel or cattery, we have seen how stressful this can be for dogs that are boarding. We strive hard to ensure all our boarders feel safe and secure in thier pens. This is not the case when strange people are walking around peering at them.
- If you are bringing in your dog for the first time we will let you settle it in the pen, however we are not able to do this for cats.
- There are plenty of pictures and videos on our page where you can see our set up.
- Despite having signs up saying no admittance into the kennel area, there are still people who ignore this and walk straight in and up into the boarding area to collect thier dog. Again other boarders find this extremely stressful. Often children are taken up into the boarding area as well, again this is a significant health and safety risk. Please can owners and parents dont go up into the kennel area, just wait till your pet is bought down to the office.
- Throughout the year we have had folk who have booked and then not shown up, this is really bad manners and money that is lost goes to pay for the upkeep of the kennels. As a result all bookings will not be secured untill the £50 non-refundable deposit is paid.
- If your dog is very dirty in the kennel which does happen at times especially with male dogs due to the female dogs being in the same building, an extra cleaning cost will be applied. This will be discussed with you on collection of your dog.

We have had a cancellation for the Christmas and New Year Period for the kennels (we are full with cats). So currently do have an empty space in one of the kennels, just call or send a message via the page if you wish to book

Hi folks just to let you know I am away next week, so Sam and the girls are here managing the kennels.

We have recently had an amount of bookings for boarding then folk have not bothered to turn up or let us know they don't need the kennel/cat pen. ALL bookings will now only be guaranteed if a deposit or the full amount is paid before your pet comes in. This is our main income so it has a significant impact on us if we lose money.

We have also had a significant amount of pets coming in who have been extremely dirty in the pens. This has mostly been entire dogs who are marking everything as they can sense the female dogs. If it is excessive marking inside the kennel we have decided if they are really bad we will no longer take them, however this will be discussed with the owners first. All dogs get outside several times as day but some dogs still come straight in and start to scent mark. If dogs are Peeing and pooping inside consistently there will be an extra cleaning charge of £10 per week for your pets stay.

He's a lovely boy, enjoys walks etc however is finding living in a busy household a bit stressful and is looking for a quieter life. If you know of any good homes please drop me a line and I can put you in touch with his owner. All prospective homes will be vetted.
