Hi I am Sarah, I am a stay at home mum to two wonderful kids, based in the Birmingham/Walsall area. I am passionate about animals and I have had my own pets for over 16 years. I have been successfully running Furry Paws Pets for 6 years and I am a very caring person putting the welfare of the animals in my care as my utmost priority. I offer a Boarding Service in my home for small pets including r

abbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters and other caged pets in my bespoke boarding facility newly built in 2023. Facilities include hutches that exceed minimum size requirements, a large secure pen for daily exercise and playtime, the shed is fully heated with lighting, water and a fridge/freezer to store any food your pet enjoys. I am available at short notice and for longer periods of sitting as required to meet your needs. I have a full UK clean driving licence, DBS check and my own vehicle. As my last week of home visits and dog walks draws to a close I had my final walk with Leo tonight. This boy has been a huge success story from pulling constantly and reacting by barking and lunging to anything that moved on his first walk he has come so far. He now walks on the lead beautifully, walks in heal on command, he reacts maybe 5% of the time but can now walk passed other dogs with no reaction he’s definitely one of my proudest achievements. I’ll miss this special boy so much 💙

After 7 years of providing home visits to pets in their homes the time has come for me to stop offering this service. As of September I will be a boarding only service and will no longer be offering home visits. I have truly loved all the pets I have cared for and visited over the years but now this is the right move for both me and my family. I want to thank all my clients and those who have entrusted their pets to me while they’ve been on holiday. I am truly thankful and grateful to you all.

It’s a warm one today so instead of playing high energy games with Anubis and Soc I did some sniffy enrichment games. This is a great one for your dog if the weathers hot and works their brain really well.

With temperatures set to rise this week I will either be cancelling dog walks or swapping them to home visits. I won’t walk dogs in temperatures over 22° for their safety so please bear with me during this warm period.
