🪴 Polly 🪴

Polly the sausage dog had her first sit with Rebel and friends last week. This lovely older gal really struggles with separation anxiety from her family. She did have her sad moments bless her but she also came for lots of love and fuss through out her sit.

🍂 Freyja 🍂

This lovely girl has recently joined Rebel and friends for regular sitting, walks and check ins. Freyja loves her walks and is very driven by her spaniel sense of smell but she really loves to be close by for all the cuddles - she’s such a lover girl! It’s been such a pleasure getting to know her so far x

💛 Blu and Nala 💛

I recently spent a long weekend back in Manchester to look after these lovely girls. It was a very cold weekend so sofa snuggles with plenty of blankets was a must!

I was told by their mom that they love their walks and won’t be phased by the cold but the girls did their very best acting for me, pretending that it was much too cold and frosty to be out for walks 😆 their tiny tippy toes on the frost are too much 😂

Hey there, it’s been a minute! We’ve been pretty busy our end these past few months. We’ve recently moved to Birmingham and Rebel and friends will soon be setting back up for business in and around the city centre 😊

I’m so grateful to all the wonderful clients we’ve had in Manchester since starting Rebel and friends in January 2024. It’s been such a pleasure to work with you all and thank you for trusting us with all your sweet babies 🐾

I (Amy) moved to Manchester in summer 2020 during Covid and I’ve truly loved making a home for myself in the north but the time came for pastures new and Birmingham has been calling us back to our roots.

We’re super excited for this next chapter! Big love x

🍄 Thistle and Willow 🍄

Last week I visited my home town and I had the pleasure of staying with one of my best friends and her two little loves; Thistle the chi and Willow the sausage. It was super restful and I’m very grateful to have been able to spend some quality time with them in the sunshine 🌞

Slowly but surely getting back into Rebel and Friends after stage four Endometriosis surgery in late March 🐾

I was told many times by professionals, family and friends that internal healing and recovery from major abdominal surgery can take a long time - a lot longer than 6-8 weeks that is normally the given guideline - so I need to show self compassion and give myself grace, understanding and rest to heal.

I don’t think I really listened to that advice or started practising it until recently and since letting go of that urgency to be back to as close to 100% as I can be, I feel a lot more peace. Maybe something in this self reflection resonates with someone reading too.

Today we celebrate our Rebel’s 9th year around the sun 🎈

Rebel came to our family when he was just 18 months old after being found as a stray. We don’t know exactly when he was born of course but this is the day we chose to make all about him!

This boy lights up every space he’s in and wants to love on everyone he meets. I hope your ninth year is full of love, play, snuggles, long walks, car rides to adventures, snoozes and chewing on rope toys 🌼
