Favela Just Dogs (Safety Seminars) Favela Just Dogs (AKA MessyPaws Dog Safety Talks) No salaries or wages are taken from the funds.

A relatiely new company which although a business, is being run as a CHarity (alongside Leafy Shades Small Animal Rescue). We teach children to be safe around dogs and the funds raised go towards a local small animal charity set up to help both domestic and wild small animals. Everything (other than out of pocket expenses) goes tot he Charity.

More dog safety talks, most recently at Our Lady of Compassion RC Primary School. The kids were absolutely golden, including the few with SEN. They asked some well thought out questions (although there's always one who tries to show off). Have had feedback from a member of staff who is afraid of dogs who has told us she has done what we suggested and the dogs who have approached her, have had a sniff, got bored and walked away.

As Oscar is at this school we attended 3 times in all completely FOC. Ordinarily, 3 visits would have been very expensive. Altogether, the dogs we used were Daisy May, Nieko and Zane. They behaved impeccably at all times and couldn't be faulted in any way. We were very proud of them. xx

Woo hoo! My lot are starting on their training for tracking from the end of next week (Schutzhund). Zane, yiannis and Tashi will also do the obedience. Jenzi can't because of her hips. Whichever dogs are assessed as suitable (given their drive and obsession for their ball) will also be going onto full Schutzhund training.

I'm looking forward to it - I hope they like it. They should do. Will make them think and work hard.

nyone going to Crufts this year? I won't be going but on a couple of ears I hope to have got one of my dogs up to standard for the agility. My Son also wants to do the junior handling so in the next 2-3 years hopefully we'll be back there. It's too expensive to go just for shopping!

Well, all the dogs are completely worn out and are asleep. Admittedly they're still covered in mud up to their elbows but I'll sort it later. It's times like this when I really wish I had a housekeeper - so I didn't have to follow them around sweeping ands mopping the floors! Wouldn't have it any other way though. Nothing beats seeing 4 big dogs running and playing together in the fields.

Took dogs out over the airport fields this morning. Got blown all over the placew. Oscar thought it was hilarious and the dogs had the time of their lives chasing leaves!! (I thought GSDs were intelligent!)

Need ideas please? I'm looking for a bag/holdall with several compartments where I can
put drinking bowls, first aid kits, head collars/haltis, leads, harnesses, toys and retrieve articles all separately. Know where I can get one?

Ever tried training 2 dogs at once when one wants to play? Absolute nightmare but so funny. They ended up playing together and I ended up covered in mud, rain water and God only knows what they wiped all over my jeans!
