Wild mbuna. Reduced to clear tanks. Some Varieties and catch locations you will not find as commercial bred. Bargain prices. You need to see these in the sunlight to appreciate their colours as we do not drown them with artificial light. These all all males living together peacefully thus dispelling the myth that the wild fish are more aggressive

Unlike many aquarium fish that rely heavily on oxygen dissolved in water, Betta have a remarkable adaptation called the labyrinth organ which allows them to breathe air directly from the surface. In the wild bettas evolved in shallow rice paddies, slow-moving streams, and warm ponds where oxygen levels can drop very low. Because of this, they regularly swim up for gulps of atmospheric air, almost like tiny whales surfacing to breathe. That’s why bettas can survive without an air pump in properly maintained tanks, although filtration, clean water, and stable temperatures are still essential for keeping them healthy long-term.
