We currently have a few enquiries concerning taking on the shop to either continue selling aquatic livestock or convert for other purposes. Enquiries are being sent to our landlords and I can supply contact details to anyone else interested.
Should we have any further developments we will keep everyone informed.
Meanwhile we are still selling both fish and dry goods etc in the shop.
With fewer tanks running we are selling out of fish and plants quickly so keep an eye open for updates when new stock arrives.
Clown loach all sold, three beacon plecs all sold, large parrot cichlids all sold.
We continue to breed fish here and support breeders which was our sole intention in taking on the shop as no other shops in the area were willing to support local breeders. If nothing else we seem to have led the way in this respect with other aquatic stores now offering local bred fish from breeders. Let's hope someone will take on the shop to continue what we started here in Birmingham and provide a future for the hobby that is beset by increasing regulations and an ideology that pet keeping should be done away with.
In addition to our usual stock of fish bred on site and those of local breeders we have some nice sized otter point mbuna in store so act quickly as these may not be here long either.
