Today's cake, a 6 inch 4 layer red velvet with cream cheese spider man cake, covered in white chocolate ganache and a marshmallow spiderweb. Had fun doing this cake 😀

Perfect slices...although this is straight from the fridge...should really wait at least an hour - literally can't wait 🤣🤣

So this evening, I mustered up my first 2 tier cake. Now I know this is FAR from perfect. Believe me, I see every flaw, I've done a pretty s**t job on making it tidy..But, given it was a rushed, last minute cake, which only took me a couple hours to do..I am quite proud of it. And yes, I know my drum should be bigger but this cake is just for me and mine so f**k it 😋

So here's what we have;
Bottom layer 6 inch, 4 layer Black Forest cake, a black cocoa sponge topped with cherry kirsch and filled with vanilla buttercream, cherry jam and cherries, covered with a milk chocolate ganache, finished with a cherry kirsch drip and topped with cherries.
Top layer 4 inch, 4 layer Oreo, black cocoa sponge cake, filled with oreo buttercream and finished with a milk chocolate ganache drip and oreo biscuits.

A 6 inch 2 layer cookie dough inspired cake for a special birthday. A vanilla sponge indulged with cookie dough pieces and chocolate chips, filled with cookie dough buttercream and cookie pieces, covered in cookie dough buttercream and finished with a white chocolate ganache.

A lotus biscoff cake for a special birthday. A 6 inch 2 layer lotus biscoff sponge with biscoff biscuits, filled with lotus biscoff buttercream and lotus biscoff spread, covered in lotus biscoff buttercream and finished with a white chocolate ganache.
