A Lovely Sunday Visit to Birds4U – All the Way from Nottingham! 🦜❤️

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming a wonderful family to Birds4U! Rachael travelled all the way from Nottingham with her lovely daughter, Teigam, and their beautiful three-year-old Macaw, Delta!

Rachael is a true bird lover and already has two amazing feathered companions at home. Along with Delta, she also owns a 25-year-old African Grey, whom she welcomed into her family when the bird was 21 years old.

Rachael told us that she regularly follows our Birds4U page and enjoys watching our updates. So today, they decided to make a special Sunday trip to visit us in person!

They spent some lovely quality time exploring our store, meeting different parrots and enjoying the company of our beautiful birds.

But this visit had a special purpose! Rachael was looking for a new feathered friend for her daughter, Teigam, who had already set her heart on a Conure.

After meeting our birds, they fell in love with one of our beautiful Pineapple Conures! 🦜💛

However, this little baby isn't quite ready to leave us just yet. Rachael happily decided to reserve the bird and asked us to continue preparing it until it's fully ready to join their family. Once the baby is ready, they'll be travelling back from Nottingham to collect their newest family member!

It's always wonderful to meet families who genuinely love and care for birds, especially those who travel such long distances to visit us.

A massive thank you to Rachael, Teigam and, of course, the gorgeous Delta for visiting Birds4U today!

We absolutely loved meeting you all, and we can't wait to welcome you back when your beautiful Pineapple Conure is ready to go home! ❤️🦜

A lovely Visit from Wales to Birds4U Birmingham! 🦜❤️

Hello, Birds4U family!

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming the lovely Lawren and Davis, who travelled all the way from Wales to visit our Birds4U Birmingham store!

Lawren and Davis are true bird lovers with seven budgies at home. They made the journey especially to find a beautiful Ringneck parrot and had already carried out plenty of research into the species.

After meeting several Ringnecks and getting to know their personalities, they fell in love with one beautiful blue Ringneck.

We explained everything they needed to know about Ringneck care, including diet, handling, training, and daily attention. We also provided a complete care sheet to help give their new companion the best start in his new home.

It was wonderful to meet such a lovely, experienced bird-loving family. We are delighted that this beautiful blue Ringneck is going to a home filled with love and care.

Lauren and Davis, we wish you the very best of luck with your beautiful new feathered companion! We hope you create many wonderful memories together.

Thank you for travelling from Wales and for choosing Birds4U Birmingham! ❤️🦜

A Special Visit from Nottingham to Birds4U Birmingham! 🦜❤️

Hello, Birds4U family!

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming the lovely Shawn Parkes and her family all the way from Nottingham!

Shawn had been looking forward to visiting Birds4U for quite some time. She had been messaging us regularly, sharing her excitement about her visit And today, that special day finally arrived! It was absolutely wonderful to meet Shawn and her family in person.

They are a true bird-loving family! They already have Eclectus parrots, budgies, and several other birds,as well as cats. Her brother showed us pictures of her beautiful birds, and we could clearly see how healthy and well cared for they were.

But something really special happened when Shawn approached our Amazon parrot enclosure. One of our beautiful Blue-fronted Amazons kept trying to get her attention, interacting with her and making sounds as if he wanted to start a conversation! And guess what? Shawn fell in love with him straight away and decided that she wanted to take him home!

After seeing her spacious cage and setup, we were delighted to know that he was going to such a loving and experienced home.

We are so happy that one of our special Amazons is now going to be part of Shawn's family, where he will receive plenty of love, care, and attention.

Shawn, we wish you the very best of luck with your beautiful new feathered companion! May you create many wonderful memories together.

Thank you for choosing Birds4U Birmingham! ❤️🦜
