🐾 Meet Enzo! 🐾

This handsome boy came in recently for his routine vaccinations, and we just had to snap a photo and introduce him to you all he's quite the rare gem! 💎

Enzo is a Thai Ridgeback, a breed we don’t often see at the clinic. Originating from Thailand, Thai Ridgebacks are one of only three dog breeds with a distinctive ridge of hair that grows in the opposite direction to the rest of their coat. 🐕

Enzo was an absolute superstar during his visit, he soaked up all the attention (and treats!) and winning hearts with his charming nature. 💙

🐢💚 Say hello to Frederica our amazing tortoise visitor! 💚🐢

Frederica recently came in after her owner noticed she was doing a lot of digging and nesting, classic signs she might be ready to lay eggs. But after some time and no eggs in sight, we stepped in to investigate.

📸 A quick X-ray revealed the cause. Frederica was carrying eight eggs! Our brilliant vets gave her a gentle helping hand with a small injection and just a few hours later, all 8 eggs were safely laid. What a superstar!

💡 Did you know? Female tortoises don’t need a male to lay eggs! They can lay dozens at a time, carefully digging a nest using only their back legs to create the perfect spot.

We’re so proud of Frederica and happy to support her on her egg-laying journey. 💚
