What a ride it’s been with all of my dogs.
The PM has just announced that XL bullies are going to be banned under the ‘Dangerous Dogs Act’.
Like a broken record i could start going on about how it’s all down to the owners but at the end of the day, the things that happened because of irresponsible people have happened and you can’t fault the government having to act on the media storm.
Now responsible owners and breeders who take time to learn about breeds and learn training will have to take a big hit. It’s almost like when people drunk drive and hit someone with their car there’s a carry on effect to everyone around them.
If you let dogs run wild they are left to their natural instincts.
Following steps for
I started breeding bullies because I LIKE the breed.
I most likely will not be breeding other breeds.
The ban is on the XL bully. But as i like to work my dogs, i will NOT be breeding frenchies or designer micro bullies as i do not deem them functional and i do not like the breeds they don’t do what i expect from a dog.
Maybe i will transfer over to sausage dogs.. who knows
probably not.
I don’t currently know what i’m going to be doing with my dogs, once i know how the ban will be enforced, i will make a decision on who stays with me and who will need to be rehomed.
All i know is that i will not be allowed to carry on breeding.
Hopefully the MP is listening to genuine advice and is not biased. There are petitions to go against this ban, i’m not sure how much of a difference it will make but make sure to check them out and sign your name should you feel the ban is not correct.
Here’s the thing; do not hate on the MP’s decision. He is trying to help the public and is doing his job, you should never hate.
Also remember to take everything that is on the news and on the popular instagram pages with a pinch of salt, the people behind media outlets are trying to grab your attention with drama and exaggerations.
The fact is that XL bullies are REAL DOGS and should have REAL OWNERS that have a spine.
