Birch Veterinary Centre Birch Veterinary Centre in Birkenhead provides expert care for cats, dogs, and rabbits.

Our services include vaccinations, consultations, microchipping, spaying, neutering, dental cleaning, and nail clipping. Birch Vets is a well established veterinary practice caring for Wirral's pets across three branch surgeries. The largest, and the site where operations and investigations take place, is based in Oxton near Birkenhead. We are a friendly team with six full-time vets, each with different interests and all willing to provide the best care for your furry family member.

Blue-green algae can be toxic to dogs. ☢️

It may appear as scum or green paint on the surface of ponds or lakes, but even a small amount can cause dogs to become seriously ill. Keep them out of water that looks suspicious, and always check for warning signs when out on walks.

We love seeing your new babies come into practice and getting to know their beautiful personalities.

It is important to keep bringing your new pets into the vets for regular contact, it helps your puppies and kitten build positive relationships with our staff where we can give them cuddles and treats rather than treatment. Even if it is just to weigh them, our staff will try our hardest to make the experience as nice as we can so your pet will come back for more!
