Using the sprinkler for the dogs to play in some water and burn some energy, this has been great over the 3 years unless you are Narla who stands on it, on the day I was recording ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿพ

Then the pool my dogs aren't big on getting in the pool so using some Salmon chunks to create a water game is an easy alternative. But do this later in the day so you don't have to change the water afterwards. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐ŸŠโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Having the door open to create a cool breeze for the dogs when they get to hot and helping them cool down. ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ”ฅ

Lastly and probably the best thing I've ever bought was the air con unit. 16 degrees in the bedroom and they are done, I even got a little gaming and streaming done ๐Ÿค–๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿ“บ

Share your stuff guys, help people with some new fresh ideas. Every year I change it up and experiment with frozen, veg & fruit to cooling mats or towels which I did last year. ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅฆ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿงบ

DOG WALKERS WANTED. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ•

Yes, you heard it right. ๐Ÿ‘‚

No matter your skill level or experience, you may be able to join our team. After years of pack walks and saying no to people, it's time for me to say YES. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฅณ

Whether you've just started or have been doing this for years but need some support, help, and want to be part of a team, we might be the place for you. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ˜Š

Last time we held interviews, we learned that it doesn't mean a thing in this game, but this time we are doing an open application, meaning if you want to be a part of our team you only have to shoot us a message. ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŒŸ

I'm both excited and nervous, but it's time to grow so we can help more people and their dogs. ๐Ÿ“ˆ๐Ÿถ

EXPECTATIONS & PERCEPTION.

Sorry for the longer video, but I wanted to share a personal issue.

Reminding you, we're all human, and like our dogs, we learn as we go and try to do better. ๐Ÿถ

Next time we go camping, I now know what to expect and what we need to do to make it a better experience. ๐Ÿ•๏ธ

Being human and making mistakes is how we learn. So remember, don't make things harder for yourself and your dogs. ๐Ÿพ

FREYA SOCIAL PART 2

After assessing Freya, she is more nervous of dogs than rude with them, meaning when she does become comfortable, she then overwhelms the dogs she plays with. ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿพ

The power of the pack will help this and allow her to release her energy while also learning how to socialize properly in public. ๐Ÿถ๐ŸŒ

Spud was the best dog for her; his happy-go-lucky energy will help her overcome nervousness and move into excitement, with Narla being her anchor dog, teaching respect and boundaries. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ

This is why proper socialization is necessary when dogs are young. She will learn valuable social skills from each member of this pack, whether it be their energy, size, or age. ๐ŸŽ’๐Ÿพ

I meet so many adolescent dogs that become reactive not out of aggression but frustration when they get bigger and can't do things they could as a puppy. ๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿถ

Do remember to socialize with the right dogs, not every dog. ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ๐Ÿพ

QUICK BRUSH.

I use the bully billows brush with my dogs only exception is Jasper due to him not shedding we only brush him.

Summer & Winter coats can be done in a few ways brushing like me over the weeks keeping on top of it.

Or hire a dog groomer to do a de-shed on your dog when it's time. I do this mostly when hot to help keep my dogs more comfortable in the heat.

SOCIAL WORK WITH FREYA. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ•

Young Rottie/Mali has come to us due to being very annoying to her much older sibling, a 13-year-old Presa. So I am using Narla to set a baseline, as she knows how to teach young dogs respectful behaviors. ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ‘ต

With her energy and size, she could accidentally injure or run up to the wrong dog, changing her energy from over-friendly to reactive or even aggressive. ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ

Socializing correctly is one of the hardest things clients try to understand, and it's all down to meeting the right dogs for your dog. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ

Again, using balance, dogs need to know how to play and how to be calm when interacting with different dogs. Too much of one thing can lead to behaviors owners don't want. โš–๏ธ๐Ÿ•

It's much harder to film when doing this, as we can't capture all the little moments we create to form good bonds with dogs. ๐ŸŽฅโค๏ธ

Now that Freya has met Narla, we will begin introducing more of my dogs and then, hopefully, into a pack of her own. Everything is a process you have to work through. ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ๐Ÿพ

But what a beautiful dog she is. Now it's time to get to work. โœจ๐Ÿ•

Wasps & Bees ๐Ÿ๐ŸŒผ

Every year, dogs get stung due to chasing bees or putting their noses into bushes or flowers. ๐Ÿถ๐ŸŒธ

Just like today, things in the field are bigger, so this isn't just one or two; I could easily see a dozen, but only what was visible. ๐Ÿ‘€๐ŸŒฟ

Navigating the world through commands is what training is all about, making sure your dog understands them and listens to what you're saying. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ๐Ÿพ

The heat brings its own issues when doing dog training and pack walks, and most of us in the dog industry will always be subject to the weather, but each year we learn and adapt to it. ๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿพ

This also applies to dogs left at home. I may do a video for in-house if people want. ๐Ÿก๐Ÿถ

If you have a sensitive stomach, don't swipe.

I wanted to do a little post about fur for your dog and how I do it, from start to finish.

So instead of getting the monthly worming tablets from the vets, I learned there's a natural way of doing it, and that is using fur. Or according to Google:

"They promote dental health, aid digestion, and can act as a natural dewormer." ๐Ÿฆท๐Ÿพ

Whenever I'm looking into my dog's health, my approach is simple:

RESEARCH THE ISSUE & FIND A NATURAL ALTERNATIVE OR SUPPORT SOLUTION. IF THAT DOESN'T WORK, THEN GO AND SEE A VET FOR MEDICATION. ๐Ÿฉบ๐ŸŒฟ

Over-medicating is as bad for dogs as it is for humans. Using things the right way will keep your dog healthier for longer. โค๏ธ๐Ÿถ
