As usual, it’s been another busy week at Harry’s Hounds! 🐾

Between keeping all these pups entertained, getting out on our adventures and trying to capture this week’s theme, we’re definitely ready for a restful bank holiday weekend! 😴☀️

The big innocent eyes. The sweet little face. The expression that says, “Me? Cause trouble? Never…” 😇

Meanwhile, we know full well that some of these “innocent” little faces were probably up to absolute mischief approximately 30 seconds before the camera came out. 😂

But this week, we’re ignoring their previous offences and judging purely on photographic evidence! 📸

Well done Harry for winning this week’s Highlights with this hilarious shot of Bean (top) and Jazzy (bottom)! 😂

These two are absolutely hilarious together. They’re completely infatuated with each other’s quirkiness (as you can tell 🤣). Out of all the dogs we have here, these two would 100% run off into the sunset together if given the chance!

This pair most certainly deserves the winning spot for the goofiest post!

Happy Friday, everyone! ☀️ I’m sure we’re all glad the weekend is here, with plenty of sunshine to enjoy and relax in after another busy week.

Now, to announce this week’s Highlight Winner… Well done to Luke, with a crystal-clear win for this perfect shot of Rafa! 📸

Rafa has been boarding with us for a while now, and he’s been loving every second of being surrounded by all his friends. He’s such a wiggle bum and sometimes acts as though he has absolutely no joints restricting his movement! 😂 If he were human, he would most certainly be a yoga instructor with how flexible he is! 🧘‍♂️

Rafa truly embodies what we try to create for all our dogs — a daycare that’s both fun and calming. A little school where they can meet their mates, muck about, be themselves and, most importantly, feel truly seen and loved. ❤️

We’ve absolutely loved getting to know each of their personalities, watching them settle in, make new friends and start finding their feet with us. Some have bounced straight in like they’ve always been here, while others have taken things at their own pace — which is exactly how we like it!

Who doesn’t love seeing a pup with so much happiness that it’s written all over their face?! 🥹

Despite another (!) heatwave, these guys have still been loving life and making the most of their days with us. Honestly, where do they get the energy?! 💤😂

🎉 Well done, Anya! 🎉

Anya captured this brilliant photo of Merlin, looking very ready to speed off on his walk — and apparently drive his first vehicle! Not entirely sure how road-safe he would have been though… 🤣

This photo really captures everything Merlin is about. ❤️ He’s such a happy, social boy who absolutely adores everyone he meets.

Merlin first came to us as a tiny little puppy with a BIG personality, and it’s been so lovely watching him grow. He’s finally starting to grow into that personality and make it fit his size!

He’s always up for an adventure, always ready to get involved and certainly knows how to make us smile — although we might hold off on giving him the van keys for a little while longer! 🤣

It’s been a busy one this week, with a full daycare of regulars and some newcomers, and plenty of home boarders here on holiday keeping us on our toes! Somehow the gorgeous stretch of British weather has continued and, as you might’ve guessed, we’ve definitely made the most of it! ☀️

There’s been plenty going on, from scent work with the tyre dome, hidden metal cups and hide and seek, to soft play, obstacle courses, football, tug of war and enough toys to keep everyone occupied (in theory).

The paddling pool has also been out to help everyone cool off, although whether it’s for paddling, drinking from or simply sitting in and looking rather pleased with yourself seems to depend on who you ask… 😂🙈

It’s safe to say there’s been no shortage of play this week, along with plenty of exploring, time with friends and all the cuddly, quiet moments in between.

As always, we’ve had our cameras out along the way and picked some of our favourite moments! 📸 This week we’ve had some surprisingly professional group shots, a few very proud poses, plenty of tongues and several dogs who clearly believe the closer they are to the camera, the better the photo 😂 We’ll let you be the judges of that one!
