Class 1. Youngstock 1, 2 and 3 year olds
Class 2. Best condition open to any age any breed, to be judged on condition and turnout
Class 3. In hand shetlands and miniatures registered and unregistered
Class 4.a In hand Mountain and moorland welsh, will be split small and large if entries warrant
Class 4b in hand mountain and moorland non welsh
Class 5 In hand foreign and rare breeds including part bred, to include, warm bloods, fjords shires etc.
Class 6 Young handler in hand, handler to not exceed 16 years of age, will be split into under 12yrs. and under 16 hrs if entries warrant
Class 7 In hand coloureds, paints, spots, palominos blagdons, duns and roans etc
Class 8. In hand cobs traditional and show cob. Will be split if entries warrant
Class 9 Let’s hear it for the boys, in hand handsomest gelding, c**t or stallion, May be split if entries warrant.
Class 10 Best solid coloured - grey, bay, l
chestnut, black any height

Class 11. In hand show ring experience not to have won 2 x 1st in hand for total novice horses and handlers
Class 12 best condition with pre existing conditions
Class 13 In hand hunter /riding horse/ hack / tb (will be split if entries warrant
Class 14.a. In hand senior handler.
Class 14b disabled handler open to all ages and combinations, handler to have some physical impairment/disability, who would need assistance to enjoy their showing, normally . To be judged on bond, turnout and compatibility
Class 15. In hand prettiest mare
class 16. In hand veterans unaff 15 years and over
Class 17. In hand concours d’elegance -
Approx 12.30pm IN HAND CHAMPIONSHIP TO RUN STRAIGHT AFTER in ring 1 in hand classes 1st & 2nd from each class 1 to 17 to qualify for the championship
Unaff ridden showing classes approx 2pm

Class 18a Novice ridden pony or horse junior
class 18b novice ridden pony or horse senior
snaffle bridles only , no spurs allowed. Must not have won 2x 1st in any ridden showing class. Walk and trot only , canter permitted in individual show but not compulsory, will be split if entries warrant
Class 19 tiny tots lead rein must be under 4 years allowed a side walker
Class 20 Lead rein open to any height age Lead rein to be attached to nose band
Class 21 First ridden pony not to exceed 138cms, riders not to have had 12th birthday, before the 31st
Class 22 Ridden prettiest mare, any age, breed
Class 23 Ridden handsomest gelding
Ring 2 not before 2pm Angela Thomas
Class 24 Ridden condition and turnout
Class 25 Ridden M&M small and large breeds, will be split if entries warrant Orsett show qualifier
Class 26 Ridden coloureds, paints, spots , palominos , blagdons and roans
Class 27Ridden cob traditional and show cob
Class. 28 Ridden veteran unaffiliated. to be over 15 years old Spurs are not permitted in this class, will not be asked to gallop in individual
Class 29 riding horse ,hack , Ridden Hunter exceeding 148cms
Class 30 Ridden foreign and rare breeds
Class 31 Ridden Concours d’elegance , qualifier
Ridden Championship will follow the ridden classes in the outdoor arena with 1st and 2nd from each class to qualify for the championship
Barleylands supreme championship show to be held 1st & 2nd in each class will qualify for the supreme championship.

Entries on line will close on the Friday evening before the show

Whilst we are waiting for it to go on my riding life, if you wish to get your entries in, please message me with each class number, horse and rider combination, then I will give you the direct details of the showing bank account for payment. Once payment is confirmed the entry will be added to the judges sheets .
If the weather is likely to be hot on the day we will move classes earlier to try and ensure the cooler part of the day for our competitors
