Just a heads up for everyone who uses this route coming from the A127 / Wickford

REMINDER - UPCOMING ROAD CLOSURE – CHURCH ROAD, RAMSDEN HEATH

The Parish Council has been notified by Essex Highways that Church Road in Ramsden Heath will be closed during the day for up to 5 days from next Monday 28th July until Friday 1st August 2025. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while UK Power Networks undertakes new installation works. The notification we have implies that they will reopen the road when they have finished work at the end of each working day. Their hours appear to be 08:00 to 18:00.

They will be closing the road from its junction with Short Lane to its junction with De Beauvoir Chase, a distance of approximately 530m.

As always, access will be provided to residents and emergency vehicles. We assume the No 10 bus service will be on diversion although we do not yet have the details.

Please do not take your frustration out on the Traffic Management guys, it's not their fault. Remember they have body cams in case things get out of hand.

This week we have Rocky staying with us he was one of our first customers when we opened the treadmill all those years back - he’s sustained a small injury and he’s here as part of his rehab ❤️❤️

Ruby’s last session this morning before going home - this stay we have noticed much more activity in her hind legs and better elevation of her front legs making her lighter on her shoulders 😄
