December, and suddenly Christmas is almost upon us! I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all my clients a very Happy Christmas and New Year, thank you for entrusting your precious pets to me this past year.
On a more solemn note, time for some reflection. I have struggled with deciding whether to continue my business due to a number of challenges I have faced this year. I love doing what I do, and love each and every one of my charges, but in order to continue I must introduce some changes for 2023, as follows:
•BOOKINGS will now only be taken via messages to the page. Previously I have had bookings via messages to my personal page, phone calls, texts, emails, and verbally. Not surprisingly this can result in some errors which not only disappoints you but I find deeply upsetting. Nor can I any longer accept provisional bookings.
•CANCELLATIONS Bookings for more than four days will incur a 50% charge if cancelled within three months (unless I manage to rebook), 100% if within a month. I am sorry to have to do this but I must in order to survive.
•From January, I can only accept bookings where I can bring my own dog with me. She is clean, sociable, and not destructive. If your dogs dislike others, I can keep her segregated. Please rest assured your animals will still remain my priority during your booking.
