As we approach the spring and Easter season 🐣 🥚 many of us will see daffodils appearing in our gardens and on our walks!

Daffodils are very beautiful but are poisonous to dogs. These plants contain a toxic component called lycorine which can cause digestive upset when ingested. There are other substances in a daffodil flower that might also cause irritation to the skin and to the mouth and throat if ingested..

If your dog happens to eat any part please seek veterinary advice immediately.
