Walks with Dogs

After much thought and deliberation I have decided to retire when my current boarding license expires at the end of May. It has been a really hard decision as I will miss my beautiful dogs. But I feel now is the right time. Thank you to everyone for there support and custom over the last 10 years

Just heard the very sad News that this wonderful little dog, Jasper, has lost the battle with his Illness. He was a great character and will be sadly missed. I took these photos only last Tuesday when he was last with me for day care.

Haven’t put anything up on walks with dogs for ages. Doggy day care is happily jogging along. I’m happy dogs are happy. Just had to say it is so lovely to have Barley for a few days. It’s over a year since he was last with us. He was happy to see us. Especially Steve. He has always had a good bond with Steve. When Teddy and Barley met again (they are litter mates) they weren’t particularly interested in each other but they are happily laying side by side now

It is with much sadness that we had to make the decision to put our beautiful boy, Hendrix to sleep today. He had been poorly for a while but had taken a bit of a down turn last night and this morning. Such a desperately hard thing to do but it was the right thing. Our home feels very empty now. 🥰😢

Decided to take Barley and Ted for s as nice long walk this morning as the weather is so lovely. A great view of Bideford from Littleham Road. On A sadder note we said goodbye to my brother in law’s Parson Jack Russell, Spider, today. He was about 17. So glad we got to spend some time with him when we went camping a couple of weeks ago. He is now buried with former family dogs and cats. RIP Spider

It is with great sadness that i announce the passing of one of my charges. He is called Teddy. I affectionately named him Telly Ted because of his habit of barking at the TV whenever animals appeared and to differentiate him from the other Teddys in my care. He only came to stay with us about 3 weeks ago and seemed fine but did lose his appetite towards the end of his stay. After he returned home he became less well and finally departed a few days ago. My thoughts are with his owners
