Yesterday I had to say goodbye to Ralph.
He deteriorated quickly over the last few days and unfortunately I didn’t get this whole weekend to spend time with him as I would have hoped but I know he is at peace now.

I did my best to give you the best life a dog could ask for. A holiday every year, even going to France twice. Countless pub visits and days out. Thank you for giving me the inspiration to change my career and become a dog walker, best thing I ever did. Despite it being my idea to get you, you were always daddy’s boy and now you are reunited.

🐾Ralph Update🐾
Some of you will know my dog Ralph hasn’t been himself these last few months and has been suffering with neck pain. His enthusiasm for life has also deteriorated with the loss of Martyn.

Today Ralph had an MRI which discovered he has cancer in his neck which has spread to his lungs which is absolutely heartbreaking.

Ralph will be coming home tomorrow from the vets after recovering from the anaesthetic and we will be giving him palliative care until I feel it’s time to to let him go. Hopefully I will have time to take him to visit some of his favourite places one last time 🫶🏼

Thank you to everyone bearing with me at the moment. I am so grateful for your patience.

I plan on returning to work on Monday 16th June. I will liaise with all of my regular clients and those that have bookings onwards of this date over the next week.

As I’m sure most of you are already aware, following recent tragic events and the loss of my Husband; Martyn, I will be taking two weeks leave from dog walking with a view to review my return towards the end of those weeks.

I will respond to my clients individually who have walks already booked in and I am gradually working through all the messages I have received, but please bear with me at this difficult time.
