Godington Stud Breeders of Trakehner Horses for Sport The focus at Godington is on producing good riding horses who can go on to achieve with their owners.

Established 30 years ago by owners Roger Truelove and Victoria von Wachter, Godington Stud breeds and produces exclusively Trakehner horses for sport. The Stud and its stallions have already produced numerous winners in all three main competition disciplines. A small, family concern, the stud gives personal 24hr attention to all visitors whether breeding mares or horses for breaking and schooling.

Exceptional temperament is our trademark, and people who have bought Godington bred horses report that they are, without exception, user friendly and eager to please. Godington Stud usually has a small number of home bred horses for sale.

HI Facebookers - is there anyone out there with a single mare in foal for 2025. We also have a single mare in foal for next year and would prefer that the foal should have playmate - so important to teach them to socialise and not be too much a pain in the arse for Mum etc! We are happy to keep mare and later foal for just hay/feed costs - free grazing . Owner to pay farrier/vet costs. We are based just north of Bicester. Anyone interested? PM me. Pic for attention
