Godington Stud Breeders of Trakehner Horses for Sport The focus at Godington is on producing good riding horses who can go on to achieve with their owners.

Established 30 years ago by owners Roger Truelove and Victoria von Wachter, Godington Stud breeds and produces exclusively Trakehner horses for sport. The Stud and its stallions have already produced numerous winners in all three main competition disciplines. A small, family concern, the stud gives personal 24hr attention to all visitors whether breeding mares or horses for breaking and schooling.

Exceptional temperament is our trademark, and people who have bought Godington bred horses report that they are, without exception, user friendly and eager to please. Godington Stud usually has a small number of home bred horses for sale.

Winner winner three times over. Two wins with 70%+ and 68%+ for G Okavango ( Elite G Hannibal/EH King Arthur) at Novice. He now qualifies for the BD Regionals and moves up to Elementary
A win and a 2nd for PM G. Burundi ( EH Helium/Elite G Hannibal) with 68%+ and 65%+ at Elementary - her first outing at this level. Well done Coco, Curley and Ruth (in the saddle) despite being drenched in the showers

Not quite as great as the day before yesterday at Bury Farm but an acceptable result at Solihull with two qualifying Elementary scores for PM Godington Burundi (EH Helium/Elite G Hannibal) - aka Curly. She et Ruth know that twice in three days was a bit much for a youngster like her but still pulled out the stops for two 64%+ scores. She is now qualified for the Area Festival at Elementary. We will not try for anything more this season as she is still so very inexperienced and not really established at this level - a bit of consolidation is called for now. Well done Ruth and Curly - pic is of her at the Novice Area Festival earlier this year(came 2nd)
