It’s been a very busy last 3 days with the 3 girls!! I am over the moon with all 3 of them!
Gigi owned by Rachel competed in the Medium Silver Area festival! She had some lovely trot work, she unfortunately got slightly tight over the back in the canter which kept our score a little lower but she came home with a 5th place.
Songbird owned by Claire competed in the Elementary silver Area festival! Songbird was so happy to be out, I couldn’t of asked for a better test. She had her ears pricked the whole way and I think we both enjoyed being out together. For our 5th ever test together we got 65% and unfortunately just dropped out of 10th place to 11th
Maebel owned by Claire, competed in the Novice Silver area festival. Maebel has never been to a big show with a huge atmosphere before, I was really pleased with how she coped in a very busy warmup. She took everything in her own stride. We unfortunately had a misunderstanding in the right canter which kept the score down but the way she carried on for the rest of the test was amazing! I wanted to give her the best experience ever and she was foot perfect.
As a rider I couldn’t have asked for more of these 3 girls. Each horse was a winner in my eyes. 🩷
A huge thank you for the girls owners for entrusting me to ride and compete them. I am very grateful and of course to everyone who helps us get there! Now to get on with another busy week ahead of Regionals with Gary ❤️
