It’s been such a positive week 🦄🦄 finally the rain has lifted spring has sprung and it’s become easier to get off the yard and start to enjoy all the hard work that’s been put in 🤠
I’m so so so proud of these boys this week Reminiscents first ever dressage today and Star of emeralds first dressage on Wednesday since 2024
I went out with the idea to just float through the test with no pressure on the boys at all holding back a little and adding no pressure whatsoever
It’s wasn’t about the marks but about a relaxed positive experience and I really felt the boys thriving from this approach
I wanted to just stay soft and relaxed not trying to fight for scores that firstly are not necessary for now as in the long run I will have mentally happy horses and then score improvement is the easier part and secondly to set the standards I’m looking for which are enjoyable trips out with happy horses
I really feel I achieved this at both shows
Both boys were so positive and really wanted to do the task at hand it was a lovely feeling to share such an enjoyable partnership with them no stress no tension just happy horses and a very proud, humbled and a totally besotted passenger that I am ☺️🦄🦄

Only right to have another appreciation post for my other not long backed 5 year old flamenco 💃!!
She has earned herself multiple gold stars this week for achieving allot of firsts! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I started her a few months before Gaabriella last summer so I wasn’t starting the backing process at the same time with them both so they had my undivided attention
She has such a character an a real mummy’s girl
The video totally captures her personality as like yesterdays video I asked for a stop command off my voice after a lovely ride out however Flame says I’m not walking on until you give me that treat I know is in your pocket! 🤣
Such a gorgeous pair of young ladies I’m very lucky to have them in my life 🦄🦄

Next week will be our 4th year anniversary of buying the farm and still there is much to explore!
A therapeutic stroll with my 6 little friends and they showed me a path they have created and discovered what looks like an old wall or bridge for the natural stream it’s not like they don’t have 20 acres to play in during the day 🤣 seems as though they have plenty of fun out here! 🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄
