While Nebula's kittens will be ready to go in a couple of weeks Nebula will need a bit of time to recover and once she is spayed she will be listed on our website ready to find her own

Our apologies if you were trying to get through to us on the phone yesterday. We had an unexpected intake of seven guinea pigs, and preparing the Hopp Inn for them took longer than expected. It hasnโ€™t been in use since before the build because of access issues, so it needed quite a bit of work to make it ready (who knew there was that much dust in the world?)

As they were previously kept in mixed groups of males and females until last Thursday, weโ€™ll be keeping a close eye on potential pregnancies. Weโ€™re hoping to have a couple of pairs ready for new homes next week, so please keep an eye on our website if you may be interested.

These three little faces are just a few of the kittens keeping us busy right now. With the recent increase in capacity, weโ€™re caring for even more animals than usual and weโ€™re short of litter trays.

Weโ€™re in real need of more Moderna Cat Litter Tray, Large, 50 cm trays. We use the same type and size for hygiene and ease of storage, weโ€™re not fussy about colour, just the style.

Theyโ€™re on our Amazon Wish List, but we can also get them with free delivery from ManoMano, which really helps keep costs down.

If youโ€™re able to donate towards their cost, weโ€™d be incredibly grateful.

The lovely people over at Northern Japanese Chin Club UK (https://www.facebook.com/groups/NorthernJapaneseChinClub) generously supported us previously had a couple of Japanese Chins in (Delilah and Barry)

We received a further donation of ยฃ212 today which arrived at the same time as this update from Delilah (the one at the back with the tongue)

Hi Delilah is doing really well. She walks off lead on quiet country paths. She's quite a diva and doesn't like boring walks, but the minute we get to the Forrest paths she goes wild running around with her tail in the air.
She's still got a good appetite and loves to cuddle up with Jerry Chin on an evening. She takes herself out to busy if the door is open. She's rather famous around the village as all the small kids love the fact that her tongue pokes out all time.
She is an absolute dream to look after, but I'm sure you already know that. It's rather obvious she was picked up a lot for cuddles ๐Ÿคฃ.
We go out for walks twice a day, and she has been to all kinds of places and takes it all in her stride.
Thank you so much again for trusting me to look after her, and all your hard work.

You may remember Pawz for Thought took all but two of our rabbits last year when building work started and we realised we could not keep the Hop Inn in use, helping relieve half of the cattery of rabbits and helping us out so much โค๏ธ.
