day 3 with kylo…

he’s got his favourite sleeping spots downstairs, so I give him that space.

but in the early hours this morning, I got a little visit.

It's always about letting dogs warm up in their own time… not forcing closeness, just being there and letting them choose you when they’re ready.

this felt like a small moment, but it’s actually everything.

I think I’m in his safe zone now…

Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I’m very aware of how much they feel change. Their routines, their space, their familiar comforts - it all matters more than people realise.

That’s why I only offer in-home sitting. I come to them, so they can stay settled, relaxed, and exactly where they feel safest. No kennels, no juggling households, just calm, consistent care.

I take on a small number of sits so each dog gets my full attention. For me, it’s not just care, it’s trust.
