🏆 Results Day – Round 1

A huge well done to everyone who took part in our first competition of the 2026 Championship.

It’s been fantastic to see such a wide range of riders, horses, and teams taking part, from first-time entries to more experienced combinations, we even had two teams of 8 competing this time 🤩!

That’s exactly what All-Steps is about, making formation riding accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Your scores are now in, and the championship has officially begun.

Here is what the first run through of the tests looks like. We just had a duo today but we run the test the same getting to know where to push, where to hold and how the horses cope in each position. At this stage we focus on knowing the moves and having spacial awareness of the asks for both halves of the ride.

Huge congratulations to everyone who entered. The standard keeps rising, numbers are growing, and it’s amazing to see our sport going from strength to strength.

Our teams have done it again!

🥇Billow Ballerinas in Pluto
🥇Billow Blazes in Favory

There is always a story behind our filming day… so here it is this time
❗️Days of torrential rain before filming ⛈️ = flooded school and horses not wanting to walk through the puddles on the centreline
❗️Lighter but still unpleasant 🌧️ for filming day = soggy horses and riders
❗️Strong wind 💨 = tinsel and Christmas efforts were literally blowing off the riders mid-take!!!
❗️Our cameraman 📹 was overseas doing a paid job and with our other techy person on her horse in both teams = 3 full run throughs filmed as a reflection in the window 🪟🤦🏻‍♀️

BUT we laughed, we had fun, we were our fabulous team ❤️

We also had 2 first timers in the team earning their team Ballet Slippers 🩰

That means our Ballerinas have won their section 4 times consecutively 🥇🥇🥇🥇. Our Blazes have had a 🥈🥇🥇. We have even set some record scores!!

None of this would be possible without the passion of our amazing trainer Ginnie Wellings, our support crew and our beloved horses!! 🐴

✨🎄We’re delighted to announce the results of the All-Steps Formation Riding Christmas Competition! 🐴🎅

The standard of riding, teamwork, and festive spirit on display was fantastic, and it’s so encouraging to see so many combinations supporting and developing our growing sport 💙.

Rosettes hand score sheets have been posted today, so they should be landing with you very soon 📬✨
