Great Mantrailing session yesterday afternoon in Thorne. Lots of distractions and all the dogs did really well finding their walking misper. Great to see all the dogs making progress with their mantrailing skills. :) 🐶 👃 ☀

We had a fantastic afternoon on mantrailing yesterday afternoon at Armthorpe Industrial Estate. Thanks to J&Aa Raw 4 the Paws who allowed us to trail through their pet shop, which specialise in selling raw food and natural treats (LOTS of distractions for the dogs to ignore :) ). We all enjoyed having a shop afterwards as well. :) 👃 🐶

So today we had something different in and around the shop.
🐕‍🦺🦮We were party to a Mantrailing session, from members of Haxey Hounds Dog Training & Pet Services.
I have known Hannah from Haxey Hounds for 12 years, since my Shadow and Hannah's Pepper were doing puppy agility together.
👃For anyone who isn't aware what Mantrailing is, Mantrailing is an exciting dog sport that teaches you and your dog to use the power of their nose to find people.
This is a fantastic sport for all dogs, it is low impact so good for older dogs and puppies.
As the sessions are one on one, it is also perfect for reactive dogs and ones who are more nervous.
It also gets the brain working so really mentally tires out even the highest energy dogs.
