The face of a dog that's just legged a lap round a massive, full sun field chasing a squirrel that had ran up a tree before she even reached it when for 45mins her dog walker has tried to keep everyone in shade and cool 🙃

Just a little post to let you all know my safety measures on those (rare) hot days 🥵

🐾 On days above 22/23°c, I will be starting my walks EARLY. I aim to have finished both group walks by 12pm. If anyone needs an extra visit in the afternoon plus the walk, this can easily be arranged.

🐾 Walks may be shortened to 45mins to ensure I can get all dogs walked safely.
The 45mins on hot days may involve just mooching about in a stream in some woods and I will try to reduce mental zoomies!

🐾 In extreme circumstances, or if your dog suffers more than normal in heat (hello my boxer owners!), I may swap walks to house visits this unfortunately will be at the same cost as a walk (if anyone has a problem with this, feel free to message and I will happily explain why with no judgement)

🐾 In the past, I have sent out a message individually to tell you my plans but by now I like to think we have enough trust between us for me to make my own decisions to keep your dogs safe, however if you have ANY problems at all, please don't hesitate to ask, especially those who haven't yet had a summer with me.

🐾 I have had a new van so I now have air con (welcome to the modern times Em 🎉)
I also have fans and a thermometer to monitor my vans temp.

It is all common sense, I'm not trying to be patronising, I do just worry about the dogs in my care.
The main point is do not feel silly/bad/annoying for messaging me about anything!

Me and Matt Jones both are honoured to be able to take part in this charity ride every year, one of our favourite weekends and for such a good cause.

Lauren’s Legacy is SO close to our hearts and I know my customers are lovely people so if you could PLEASE take just a little time to read and take part, or even just donate a tiny amount it'd mean a lot to the people that this charity helps.

Love visiting this mini zoo to feed Dave the bearded dragon and Pumpkin and Pie the cheeky rabbits.

Its not just doggos at Paws Forward, I'll look after pretty much any animal while you're away, just show me how and I'll do it!
