☀️🐶 HOT WEATHER & GROOMING 🐶☀️

With the warmer weather here, your dog’s safety and comfort is our top priority 💛

We have appropriate measures in place in the salon including:
❄️ Air conditioning
💧 Fresh water available at all times
🩺 Assessments before every groom

Please note — during extreme temperatures, we will only carry out grooms if we feel it is beneficial and safe for your dog. In some cases, a dry trim may be recommended instead and or leaving your dogs coat a little damp if needed 🛁✂️

If possible, please avoid walking your dog before their appointment to help keep them cool and comfortable 🐾 if the floor is too hot to touch, it’s too hot for their paws!!🐾

MATTING isn’t just a bad hair day…it’s PAINFUL❗️

Mats in a dog’s fur aren’t just a cosmetic issue —they can cause real health problems.

✂️Tight mats can pull on the skin, causing pain and irritation.
✂️They trap dirt, moisture, and bacteria, leading to infections.
✂️Severe mats can restrict movement and even hide wounds.

❗️A lot of people don’t know this but matting can actually cause prevention of blood flow!!❗️

💚 Keeping on top of brushing actually reduces stress when your dog has to come to the groomers too! 💚

TRUST US we don’t like to shave your dog for fun!!! And it’s not just the “easy” option for us groomers, it’s just the most kindest thing to do for their welfare 🩷
