For everyone who remembers wee Sam the wee blind jack russell that was found dumped outside Enniskillen… we found him a wonderful foster home a few months back… the family fell in love with him and have decided they want to be his permanent family 💕💕💕😍

They returned today to legally adopt him ❤️

It really is days like this and people like Sam’s new owners that makes it all worth it 🐾

UPDATE: REUNITED WITH OWNER.

This little one was found on Channing Street, Castlereagh Road this morning. The dog is chipped but sadly it is not registered. Quite elderly with distinct features, please share & let us know if you think you know the owner. Proof of ownership will be required upon collection.

Great dog friendly event this Saturday 🐶

That’s us finished dog walking from 11am this morning until Tuesday, myself and the pups are going to enjoy the sun, shade and generally just taking it easy. Have a great holiday weekend, as normal our 24 hour emergency pet taxi is on call 🐶 🚕

This little cutie was found today in the area named above. They’re currently safe and secure with a volunteer at the moment, the warden is aware.

Our new addition 🐶

Wee Sam the blind dog who we think may have been dumped went to his new Foster home today 🙌🙌

He has found himself a great family who is going to love and care for him so well.. He will only know love now.

In a touching moment before kickoff, Romanian footballers from FCSB and Universitatea Cluj walked onto the pitch with rescue dogs by their side as part of a new campaign, “Adoptă un Prieten” (“Adopt a Friend”), aimed at finding homes for stray dogs across the country. 🐶♥️

Each player led a dog wearing an “Adopt Me” bandana, while their names and stories were shown on the stadium screens along with QR codes linking to their adoption profiles. Fans gave a warm ovation, and several players were visibly emotional.

One standout was Radu Dumitrescu, who posed with Bella—a three-legged terrier rescued just weeks ago—calling her a “warrior” in his post-match interview.

The initiative was a huge success, with 14 of the 22 dogs receiving adoption applications within 48 hours. The Romanian FA has already confirmed plans to roll the campaign out nationwide.

Football saves lives—and this weekend, it saved a few more. ⚽🐾
