VULNERABLE 17 YEAR OLD DOG

Hello guys,

We really need some public support today for missing dog Rosie. Rosie went missing yesterday morning around 10am in Lady Dixon Park which is extremely unlike her.

Rosie was wearing a harness/coat and we fear that it’s possible she has gotten caught up in the undergrowth somewhere in and around Lady Dixon Park. Rosie was last sighted quite centrally close to the golf club section of the park but could be anywhere within this vicinity.

Rosie is 17 years of age and her owner is absolutely distraught that she has lost her buddy. PLEASE comment below if you’re able to help us search sections of the park.

Almost Home is proud to be the only rescue in Northern Ireland which provides a retirement home for elderly dogs in need.

Heather House opened its doors in July 2016 and since then, we have provided a loving home for over 200 ‘golden oldies’.
Often, finding the perfect gift for a loved one can be a challenge.

If that person is an animal lover, why not consider the gift of sponsorship. As a sponsor they will be joining a very special group of people who love our ‘oldies’ as much as we do.

Sponsorship generates much needed funds to help cover the running costs of Heather House.

We can offer a year of Heather House sponsorship for a one off donation of £60.00 and if you are a UK taxpayer, you can add gift aid.
We will personalise the gift to fit the occasion and you can provide a personalised message to the recipient for their introductory mailing which you can send on. We will then make arrangements with the recipient to add them to our mailing list but you will continue to receive the mailings so that you can enjoy this wonderful gift also. We send a monthly greeting from a housemate plus several updates during the year.

There is also the wonderful opportunity to meet the housemates at our annual meet and greet days.

Our sponsor programme is managed by two Heather House volunteers and all updates are sent via email which ensures that every penny of your subscription goes towards their care.
