We love supporting our fellow pet professionals! And a friend of ours at Hillside Kennels, Grooming & Cattery is currently looking for a new team member.

We are an older style kennel that is nestled into the hillside in Greenisland, but a lot of emphasis goes into the time spent with each animal to ensure it's stay is as comfortable and happy as possible, also offer a pick up and delivery service.

Dear Clients,

We have now reached the VAT threshold, and in accordance with HMRC regulations, we are required to apply VAT. Unfortunately, this change is out of our control, and we hope you understand.

From 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟭𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝘆, our prices will be adjusted accordingly. To ensure complete clarity, all pricing will now be fully inclusive, meaning the price you are quoted will be the final price for your dog’s groom.

Matted coat work, which requires additional time, specialist handling, and extra care, will continue to be assessed on the day. These fees will remain the same to reflect the extended appointment time and welfare considerations involved. As always, any additional costs will be discussed with you beforehand.

If you have any questions about these changes, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly — we are always happy to help.

You’ll be supporting the groomer with day-to-day salon tasks, including:
• Bathing and drying dogs
• Brushing and coat prep
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
• Assisting with handling dogs during grooming
• Providing a calm, positive experience for pets
