A Quick Heart-to-Heart with My Wonderful Clients 🐾
To all my amazing clients, I wanted to take a moment to share a little bit about what goes on behind the scenes here, and why keeping your appointments is so important.
I do what I do for one simple reason: I absolutely love each and every dog in my care. Your pups aren’t just "appointments" to me—they are family. Because I love this work, I always do my absolute best to accommodate everyone's schedules. I also absorb the entire expense of traveling all the way from Belfast to Dunfanaghy just to be there for you and your fur babies.
Even with the rising costs of travel and supplies, I’ve kept my price increases to an absolute minimum—keeping them nowhere near standard competitor pricing—because I want to keep quality care accessible for you.
The Impact of No-Shows & Last-Minute Cancellations
Lately, no-shows and same-day cancellations have been making things incredibly difficult. When a slot is missed or canceled at the last minute, it affects everyone:
Other Dogs Miss Out: I consistently have a waiting list of clients who genuinely need appointments but can't get in.
Wasted Travel & Time: Last-minute cancellations leave empty slots that are impossible to fill on short notice, meaning the long journey down is left unsupported.
‼️Our New Policy‼️
To protect my business and keep things fair for the clients waiting for spots, I am implementing a new policy going forward:
⚠️ No-shows and on-the-day cancellations will now be charged the full price of the scheduled appointment.
I completely understand that emergencies happen, and all I ask is for as much notice as possible so I can offer the slot to a dog on the waiting list.
Thank you all so much for your understanding, your ongoing loyalty, and for trusting me with your beautiful dogs. I can’t wait to see you and your pups at your next scheduled visit! 🐕❤️
