What a difference!!! 🤩🤩
Now I’m not for one to blame my tools but sometimes it can be the wrong saddle. Which is what happened to Michelle and Jack as Jack came with this saddle. So it wasn’t professionally fitted.
As we can see from the first clip, Michelle is leaning on her hands, legs swinging forward and Jack isn’t really going anywhere. All because Michelle is trying to make herself comfortable. But the 2nd clip is with their new dressage saddle that has been professionally fitted the difference is unreal!!! Michelle position has improved so much resulting in a far better leg position and better form of balance. Even Jack is off like a rocket (little too fast for my liking 😂) but just shows you sometimes it is the tools we work with can be causing more issues than solving them.

Fabulous pairing making another accomplishment 🥳🥳🥳

Hazel and her lovely girl going all the way to the top of the arena, both walk and trot in tonight’s lesson!!!
Only been working with them for 4wks and the difference in Hazel’s confidence is amazing!!! When I first met this pairing, they weren’t really in harmony and playing off of each others nerves but as lessons go on they are developing a deeper relationship and understanding of each other resulting in trust 🥰🥰
Keep up the amazing work ladies 🤩🤩

Love this!!!! So true🥰🥰. Even as a coach I still have my first coach telling me in my head to sit on my ass and push with my seat rather than flapping about like a fish 😂😂

Every ride begins alone.

I have a very exciting announcement🥁🥁🥁🥁

I am, as of July going to be offering “yard/holiday cover” for clients!!!!!!
This is something I’ve been thinking of for a little while and now with my teaching schedule a little bit more stable (pardon the pun😂😂) I can offer the following services

•Full livery - muck out, water, haynets, bring in/out, feeds made up and rug changes if required - £20 per horse
•Bedtime livery - bring in from field, feet picked out, feeds in and jammies on if required - £10 per horse
•Field checks - Quick check to make sure they have water and if rugs need to be taken off or on that day - £5 per horse

Now please note there will be a fuel change ⛽️ if it’s 15miles away from Beith in North Ayrshire.

Leo and Erin put on their brave pants and took Leo a small hack. Now Leo really struggles going out his comfort zone and in this case it’s the yard gates 😂😂. But today with help of Erin’s quiet riding and me on the floor protecting him from hedge monsters. They got all the way out and up the road 🥳🥳🥳 first time out hacking in 4yrs Erin told me.
What an accomplishment 🥰🥰🥰

July Friesian beach rides 🌤️🏖️

After seeing how popular this experience has become. I’m thinking of offering two beach rides in July 😎😎
Possible dates being 5th and 19th July.
Not set in stone but want to stick to Saturdays ideally but Saturday dates can be changed if required.

Z being an absolute superstar for Leah and Michelle yesterday 🖤🖤

Leah and Michelle have youngsters and were looking to have a lesson were they could focus on themselves for a bit. Z took his role of “school master” very seriously, making sure to look after them every stride!!! They left feeling amazing and learnt so much in a small space in time. 🥰🥰.
Well done ladies!!!!

Hi everyone
So summer is nearly here and I was thinking of maybe doing a “Friesian experience at the beach”. Nothing quite like riding at the beach and imagine doing it on a Friesian 🤩🤩. Definitely a bucket list opportunity.

After all the dressage yesterday it was nice to teach some jumping!! 🤩🤩

Kori and Leo working on some “related distances” and they killed it!!!! So chuffed with them today and hopefully they’ll be getting first place at their next competition on a few weeks 🥳🥳🥳
