This is Willow 🤍
She’s 6 years old and has always had her hair cut. She’s actually a Sealyham/Jack Russell mix so would have benefited from being hand stripped instead.
It has became more obvious the change in her coat and its texture.
She is a girl who LOVES the outdoors and is anything but a fair weather walker. It was interesting to see how much of her coat did actually still manage strip easily. So she’s a work in progress and will over time hopefully improve and give her some of that natural protection it’s supposed to.
In some cases like Willows, it’s not always possible to do this and other factors such as being spayed/neutered or other health conditions can also impact the coats texture and whether or not it can be stripped.
