Akira the German Shepherd had a right hind total hip replacement (THR) in March at Fitzpatrick Referrals. She is having post operative rehabilitation sessions including underwater treadmill, physiotherapy and k-laser.

Her muscle mass and strength through the right hind is developing well, each week she is more comfortable in range of motion and slowly returning to a more normal routine at home. Her lovely owners have been a huge part of her recovery - well done Akira 🥰🐾
