Hot weather ready at HQ 😎👌

Outdoor set up, the gazebo is up ⛺️, thankfully providing shade throughout the day as the sun moves. Paddling pool 🏊🏻‍♀️ well under way to being replenished with fresh cool water.

Inside the fans 🪭 are out keeping the house cool, multiple water bowls going down. Cooling bandannas 🥶 well and truly ready for when temperatures peak.

The icing on the cake and the big lads favourite, frozen yoghurt sweeties or as I call it dog ice cream 🍦

Hot Weather Notice 🥵☀️🕶️

Summers well on its way with temperatures as high as 29 degrees on Monday 🥵😳.

WALKERS 🐕‍🦺🚶‍♀️ - Please note that walk times may be pulled forward, or cancelled and switched out to garden visits where necessary . I will be carrying water with me on all walks as well as cooling bandannas. Switching locations to more shaded areas will be limited this year due to daycare and boarding being fully operational and time being limited.

DAYCARE & BOARDERS 🏠⛲️🪴 - All dogs will be walked first thing on a morning or in boarders case last thing at night, when it is cooler.
During the day we will be sticking to the garden and the house. The fans will be out, as well as the pool and cook snacks 🥶

Please remember with the forcast constantly changing, changes may take place at the beginning of the day.

I will always put the dog’s health and safety above all else. I will not put them at risk of burnt paw pads or worse heat stroke.

Let’s keep all our furbabies safe this summer ❤️☀️

Last weeks crew - little pickle, mr&mrs sweet, little custard, baby bugalugs, lady long legs, baby long legs, carrot man, miss diamond, the baby hippos, the big lad and her ladyship!!

Reminder - I am closed bank holiday Monday and message responses will be limited.

🚨SERVICE UPDATE🚨

Finally getting round to this post after a busy couple of weeks!!

Please read thoroughly and message any questions!

Due to circumstances changing on the premises out of my control, The Barking Inn Pet Sitting service will be closing permanently as of the 28th of June 2026 and I will not be accepting any new bookings between now and then.

The barking inn Doggy Daycare and Home Boarding will be continuing as normal, as well as the regular walkers.

Should you require pet sitting and aren’t sure where to turn, I highly recommend both Lindsay - In The Dogs House and Emily - Emily's Pet & Equine Care

Finally I would like to thank all my lovely owners who have booked with me for pet sitting and for being supportive of the journey of the business. All the best!!

This mornings adventure for my two, up and out to Sammy’s Field!!!
Not the best weather, however didn’t stop my two having a swim in the pool!! Her ladyship is now obsessed with the ball pit and for the big lad it was definitely a toss up between the pool and the scent garden 🤩

We’ll definitely be heading back in the future 🤩🥰

Another delayed post from last week due to a busy week and weekend with a few changes due to pet sitting and a lot of horses on the books, safe to say I’m shattered!!

Last weeks crew - new kids - The soda boys, little pickle, baby bugalugs, baby long legs, baby hippos, mr sweet, carrot man, wee man, mr sunshine, lady long legs, the big lad and her lady ship!

There will be a few service updates being posted at the end of this week.

But for now time to rest up ready for another fun filled busy week 🤩
