Ash Tree Stud Horse Stud Ash Tree Stud is a family run business which breeds Irish Draughts and Irish Draught Sport horses, based in North Yorkshire.

We have managed to build up an excellent reputation for high standards and the quality of our horses. The wonderful Irish Draught temperament and great attitude has meant breaking my youngsters has been very straightforward. Although all individuals, they have all been so willing and easy to train. Brought on slowly they are given time to mature both mentally and physically. The stud is now establ

ished on an 800 acre farm not far off the A1. The visiting mare and foal paddocks have good hedges and post rail fencing. There are some small paddocks for those needing individual attention. The stud has also been very successful in getting difficult mares in foal. As I see it, we all need to do our bit to keep the pure Draught bloodlines going, as it is their reliable, unflappable, gentle and laid back temperament that makes them such a willing safe ride as well as a pleasure to own. So let’s make sure we have these fantastic horses for our children to pass on to their children.

Sadly the time has come for me to advertise Bella to start looking for her new 5* 🏡.

Such an amazing horse with so much to give. If I had the time to ride her and Bubbles she wouldn't be going anywhere.
