Struggling to find the right trainer…?
Our industry is sadly unregulated meaning anyone can set themselves up and call themselves a trainer. This is so frightening as you need to be able to work with someone you can trust. What clients are advised on, will affect the dog and owner for the the rest of their lives. When looking as to who to work alongside, firstly accredited trainers are so important. We at are proud to say we have worked hard to gain our ATI (accredited training instructor) status with the renowned APDT, members of the ABTC (Animal and Training Behaviour Council).
Most importantly, look at the dogs the trainers own. You have real living breathing results of the trainers hard work. Demonstrating their training methods, showing what we teach really works.
One or two dogs is not enough experience, you need consistent and multiple examples of training successes, and should look for a trainer who has years of experience.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions when searching, as proof is certainly in the pudding.
Here at legacy dog training, we are passionate about all things dogs. We have such a strong community built up over the years, which continues to grow.
We have exciting expansion plans in the horizon to allow our community to continue growing. We are so blessed to have such incredible clients and the opportunity to welcome more for the future.
