On 25th May, Damien would have turned 49 years old and to honour his memory and celebrate the beautiful soul he was, I would love to mark this occasion in a special way. 💛

🐾 A brilliant week with Paw and Order! 🐾

What an incredible week of learning and growth it has been! This week I had the wonderful privilege of spending time with the absolutely amazing Jennie and Stacy from Paw & Order — and I genuinely cannot speak highly enough of them. 🧡

I have been lucky enough to take part in some fantastic scent work training, join in with pack walks and also experience 1-to-1 sessions with our three dogs. Every single moment has been a joy and an education in equal measure. 🐕🐕🐕

As I continue to build Ruby's Caring Paws, one of my biggest commitments is to keep learning and developing so that I can offer the very best possible service to every single one of my clients and their beloved pets. Spending time with Jennie and Stacy is exactly the kind of investment that I know will make a real difference — not just to me but to every dog and owner I work with. 💛

The knowledge, patience and passion that Jennie and Stacy bring to everything they do is truly inspiring. I am learning so much from them and feel incredibly grateful to have their support on this journey.

I have had a few lovely enquiries recently asking whether Ruby's Caring Paws offers pet boarding — so I wanted to take a moment to clear this up and make sure everyone has the information they need! 😊

Pet boarding is not something I offer — however I would never simply leave someone without support! Where I have been unable to help, I have done my very best to reach out and recommend some of the brilliant local businesses I have come across and built relationships with, to help find the right fit for you and your pet. 💛 Finding the right care for your beloved animal matters deeply to me — even if that means pointing you in the direction of someone else. 🙏

What I DO offer is a wide and flexible range of services including:

What a lovely morning! I have just returned from a really enjoyable hour long walk and talk with a wonderful client and their gorgeous dog in Loddon — and it was exactly the kind of visit that reminds me why I love what I do. 🧡

This particular client prefers to keep their privacy on social media — and that is absolutely something I respect completely and without question. At Ruby's Caring Paws, your wishes always come first. No photos, no details — just the assurance that your pet is in safe, caring hands. 🙏

The walk gave us the perfect relaxed opportunity to spend quality time together, get to know each other properly and ask all the important questions on both sides. Building that genuine trust and understanding between myself, the client and their dog is something I take incredibly seriously. 💛

🐾 On boundaries, values, and the kind of business I want to be...

Building a new business is such an exciting journey, and one of the unexpected joys has been discovering just how many wonderful, like minded local businesses and individuals are out there who genuinely want to support and uplift one another. 💛

However, recently I had an experience where a fellow local business attempted to use my own Facebook post to redirect an enquiry to their business that had come to me directly.

It wasn't a pleasant experience, and it's not something I would ever consider doing to another business.
This is one isolated example and absolutely not a reflection of the brilliant businesses I am encountering on this journey. But it did make me stop and reflect. 🌿

It reinforced something really important — that not every business shares the same values. Some see others in their field as competition to be beaten. I don't. I genuinely believe there is room for every business to succeed, and that collaboration and kindness will always take you further than competition ever will.

I am an open person — sometimes to a fault — and whilst that can leave you a little vulnerable at times, I wouldn't change it. It's at the heart of everything Ruby's Caring Paws stands for.

🐾 A fantastic booking 🐾

What a lovely way to spend part of my day — this afternoon I had the pleasure of meeting the gorgeous Bingo again and his fantastic owners! 🧡

We headed out for a lovely walk together, giving Bingo and I the perfect chance to get to know each other in a relaxed and natural way. It was such an enjoyable experience and Bingo was absolutely wonderful company! 🐕☀️

Bingo's owners and I also had a really lovely chat, taking the time to go through everything I need to know about Bingo so that when our future booking comes around I can provide the very best care possible.

Getting to know not just the pet but the whole family is so important to me — every animal is unique and deserves a service built entirely around them. 💛

I am really looking forward to spending more quality time with Bingo in the future — I have a feeling we are going to get along just brilliantly!🐾😊
