PETLEY UPDATE
Apologies for being a bit quiet on the show front at Petley recently. Lots going on behind the scenes.
Julie and Danielle are having a change of direction to concentrate on there new project to run their new business enterprise which is ‘Petley Wood Pop up Barns’ which is based in the old stable yet that has been totally transformed. They will offer Children’s roll play activities, pop up café and many more exciting activities in the offing. The opening date is planned for mid September.
Going forward…..Ian Bareham, under the name of ‘IB Equestrian Services’ will now be solely responsible for running the show side at Petley, the plan is to run a couple of shows a month initially. BD and Unaffiliated dressage which is already scheduled till next June and an Unaffiliated SJ/Arena Eventing or Combined Training on a monthly basis. It is also planned to run some Clear round days and clinics in the future. Full details and online entries will be available on the Petley Website which will be updated on a regular basis. We cannot stress enough that if the shows are not supported, they won’t happen as the financial implications involved are too great to risk for this new arrangement. The hire side of the business will still be run by Julie and Danielle, they will be responsible for all arena hire dates, and bookings from Pony clubs, Riding clubs etc for running their own events. Julie can be contacted by email on [email protected] for further information.

Dressage update:
After what seems an eternity of form filling, site visits and numerous conversations. Petley have finally been approved to run BD competition's again. We will run monthly on a weekend date starting on 6 July and run from Intro through to Medium initially.
We will also be running Unaffiliated on these days.
We have scheduled long and short arena tests that will run concurrently and first schedule for 6 July is now online
See you all there hopefully, if not then on 11 May for Unaffiliated Dressage .
