While at work tonight I was speaking to a woman ,from Blackburn ,who told me that people were trying to steal her dog today. She had her cocapoo out in her garden and she heard it barking. She went out and there was a couple at her gate and the man had a heavy duty lead in his hand. When she approached them they acted really suspiciously and then started to ask lots of questions about her dog. She described them as both being about 5ft5. The man was scruffily dressed with holes in his trainers. The woman has blonde curly hair and was wearing a top with dogs printed on it. She reported the incident to the police, but they said they couldn’t do anything, because they didn’t actually enter her garden. She was in no doubt that if she hadn’t been so close they would have taken the dog. She has asked me to pass this on to make other dog owners aware,
