After 12 great years at the helm of Bath Tails, today is sadly my last day. I have been lucky enough to work looking after literally hundreds of beautiful animals in that time and despite the 4.30am alarms on Christmas mornings, the fox-poo covered dogs and more cat litter trays that any human should naturally come across in a lifetime, I have to say that it has been a blast. Thank you for being wonderful clients and for entrusting me with you furry, feathered and even a few scaly family members. “What now?” you may ask. Well, 6 years ago we set up, Friends Indeed which is a great service providing home help and companionship to older residents in B&NES and now I need to fully devote my time to that. We have a wonderful, dedicated 20-strong team supporting people in all manner of ways so that they can either stay living independently at home for longer or can enjoy company and trips out if they have moved into care homes. So, if you know anybody who could benefit from weekly support, please do think of us. And if you know somebody who is practical and caring with a bit of time on their hands and life experience (it might even be you!) we are always looking to recruit more good people. So, it is onto the next chapter for me and I bid you all a final farewell. Take care and cuddles to all! Wendy x
