I’ve recently rebranded my pet care business to Sophie May’s House of Pets. This fresh, elegant look reflects the same personal, compassionate care you’ve come to know - truly captured beautifully.

Autumn - The Perfect Season for Dog Walking 🍂

The vivid, stunning scenery and colours add to the enjoyment of dog walking, not to mention a fantastic opportunity to take professional looking photos of your gorgeous dogs, ready to add to your family album.

Sure, it may get a little chilly, not to mention the downpours and the mud, but it’s all worth it to be out in the great outdoors with man’s best friend 🧡

The great news is, you don’t have to compromise on those dark, gloomy mornings, on which you just need a cozy 5 or 50 more minutes in bed, because I’ve got you covered my wellies on ready to go! 🥾

So, relax with a warming cup of coffee ☕️ knowing your dogs are out living their best lives, in safe hands, getting the physical and mental stimulation they need 🐾🐾

Nature is at its finest! 🍂🍄🧡

Horror Movies 2025 🍿 : Good Boy 🐶

As a Pet Care Professional, I’ve been intrigued to find out how the director, Ben Leonberg, worked with his own dog, Indy. Without CGI or visual effects, you can’t help but wonder how a horror film from a dog’s perspective can be made ethically, as surely, they can’t be made to feel genuinely afraid?! Not to mention the time worked.

Whilst, Indy is clearly a well trained dog, behind the scenes/interview footage explains that they had to work around the dog, rather than the dog perform for them. He was in his familiar environment, with his family ❤️

As they say, never work with kids or animals 😆 big respect for the patience and the problem solving skills that would have been required here! 🐾🐾

I’m really excited to see how they’ve pulled this off. I haven’t seen any trailers, so like the rest of you, I’m wondering, but does the dog die?! 🫣
