A quick update regarding appointments during this hot weather. ☀️

I have made the difficult decision to cancel afternoon grooms when temperatures become too high next week.

I know some of you are frustrated, and I understand that many dogs are due for a groom, but the health and welfare of the dogs in my care will always come first.

The salon becomes extremely hot during these temperatures, especially when using high velocity dryers, which generate even more heat.

I would much rather rearrange an appointment than risk a dog becoming overheated or distressed.
Please remember that I cannot control the weather.
These cancellations are not easy for me either, as I then have the challenge of finding alternative appointments and rearranging my schedule to fit everyone back in as well as the fact I’m still on holiday.

I am doing my best to look after both my clients and their dogs, so I kindly ask for a little patience and understanding.
Please be kind. These decisions are made with the dogs safety as the priority.

5 month old Arlo came in today for his first groom. 😍

And what a brave boy he was. He was a little unsure at first but after a little time playing and getting to know me, he was much more comfortable.

Lola, I will miss you more than I can say. 😢

It has been such a pleasure to groom this wonderful girl (we all know I have a soft spot for Yorkie’s )

She was the sweetest little girl. But sadly got poorly and passed away just a few days after her last groom.

Not only will I miss this girl, I will miss chatting to her wonderful family as I have watched their family grow.

It really is the hardest part of this job, but I also feel very privileged to have been the one to take care of her and to be trusted with this beauty.

My beautiful girl, Spangle ❣️

We make a few adjustments for this beautiful girl as she had arthritis which as you can imagine, it can make the process a little uncomfortable for her.

She’s honestly the happiest girl in the world and I absolutely love taking care of this girl.
