2025 marks 8 years that I started dog walking, August will be 7 years since starting my dog training journey and 5 years in January that I created KBK9s.

My business was just starting when COVID lockdown hit and I thought my little business was over before it had started. That didn't happen and has gone from strength to strength, I feel incredibly proud that I have been consistently fully booked for 3 years now. I still have dogs with me that were my very 1st clients and lots of dogs that came to me as brand new puppies.
Here's to many more years doing what I love and many more dogs lives to enrich. ❤️

If you saw my previous post of Prince Digs bedtime routine.....

This is a lovely example of how crate training ISN'T locking your dog in a cage. Digby loves his little bedroom and he would not be as settled at night without it.

These are some great reasons to get your dog accustomed to a crate.

*Keep Your Dog Safe in the Car
*Allow Emergency Responders to find your Dog easily in fire
*Prepare your Dog for an Emergency evacuation situation
*Crate Training can help prevent destructive behaviors
*Crates prepare your Dog for overnight stays at the Veterinarian
*Give your Puppy/Adult dog a Space to nap and stay out of trouble
*Crate Training can help with Separation Anxiety
*Keep your Dog away from guests if they find this very over exciting or they get anxious of visitors
*Crate Training can help Dogs recover faster after injury or surgery
*Crates prevent fighting between Dogs in multi dog households.

Got to do Prince Digby dogs bedtime this week. It's goes like this.....

Outside for wees, Announce "Bedtime" and off he trots straight to his cozy crate. He gets settled for his bedtime biscuit and then he gets tucked in with fluffy blankets for his head and ear rubs while I tell him he's so precious and loved (think positive affirmations 😂).
Close the crate, blow him a kiss and tell him will see him soon.
He's such a good boy for bedtime ❤️

Small breakthrough with Miss Cora yesterday.
We have been working for some time on her anxiety/attachment to her human, lots of small steps has been very important for her progress so we don't overstep and lose her trust.

We can now happily attach the lead, go to her fave toilet spots and she now happily settles with me for some fuss time.
The car has been slowly introduced since the beginning but it was a source of anxiety for her so lots of very small exposure sessions during my visits and no actual getting into vehicle fully.
Today I opened the door for her to have a sniff around and she jumped straight in 👏 🎉
I would like to get Cora comfortable with going in my car so we can go to another area for walks as she has a strong safety ring around her home that she doesn't like to leave while walking without her owner.

A massive win for the week, well done little Miss ❤️

Going into 2025 KBK9s is fully booked for walking services. Any slot availability that comes up will always be offered to existing clients and anyone on the waiting list. I will advertise them on here if no takers.

I will still have availability for training 121s and Training walks as needed. I will update this pinned post should anything change.

Thank you to all my lovely clients, supporters and followers this year.
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas if you celebrate and get some time to pop your feet up.

Any requests will be dealt with on 6th Jan when I return.

I will be popping up a pinned post soon about availability in 2025, hopefully that will help anyone looking for services going forward (and save my inbox 🫣)

Last evening companion sit for 2024 last night, lots of people off for some festive fun this time of the year.

It wasn't her year but she did amazing and was so brave to get up on that massive dance floor and do her thing.
