Does your dog pull like this when you walk them?

Leash tight. Arms tense. You’re being dragged from tree to tree while your dog acts like they’ve got somewhere very important to be.

Here’s the truth: it’s not about strength — it’s about clarity and consistency.

If your dog doesn’t clearly understand what you expect on a walk, they’ll default to what they want. And if your rules change depending on your mood, the day, or how tired you are… they’ll stay confused.

Clear expectations:
What does “a good walk” actually look like to you? Loose leash? Checking in? Walking beside you?

Consistent communication:
Do you respond the same way every time they pull? Or only when it gets annoying?

Dogs learn patterns. If pulling sometimes works, they’ll keep trying.

The goal isn’t to control your dog — it’s to make the walk make sense to them.

Because once they understand the rules, everything changes.
