☀️🐾 Hot weather & BBQ season reminder 🐾☀️

With the warmer weather finally here, it’s important to keep our pets safe while enjoying the sunshine 💛

A few things to watch out for:
🔥 BBQ food like onions, corn on the cob, cooked bones & fatty meats can be dangerous for dogs
🍺 Alcohol and sugary drinks should always be kept out of reach
🍫 Chocolate and sweets are toxic to pets
🌡️ Hot pavements can burn paws — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their feet
💧 Always make sure pets have access to fresh water and shade

For cats:
🌸 Lilies and some garden plants can be highly toxic
☀️ Conservatories & sheds can become dangerously hot very quickly

Remember — our pets can overheat much faster than we do 🐶🐱

🌭 Secure the space – consider a safe, shaded spot where your dog can relax away from the chaos
