☀️🔥 WOW… what a bank holiday weekend at Shooting Stars Competition! 🔥☀️

The weather was absolutely scorching, but our teams were even hotter on the lanes! 🐾💨

🏅 Saturday – 5th Flash, Oscar, Ivee & Weasel

This team was thrown together last minute and WOW did they deliver! Considering these dogs had never run together before (or barely even knew each other 😅), they absolutely smashed it. So much potential in this little team — exciting things ahead this year!

🥈 Sunday – 2nd Minty, Lenny, Maudie, Stanley & Charlie Brown

WOW WOW WOW 🔥Only their SECOND competition racing together and they pulled out a shiny new PB of 20.90!! The dogs are gelling beautifully, we switched positions around a few times, and every single one of them stepped up and smashed it.

🏆 Special Judges AwardA huge shoutout to Jack, our junior handler, for his first time running Charlie Brown in open racing — and boy did they smash those lanes together! 💙

🐾 Monday – Foundation Teams 🐾

🥇 Cockney Outcasts – 1st Alice, Ned, Nyx & Darcie

What a fantastic team! First competition together and they supported each other every step of the way. Calm, collected and determined — and the results speak for themselves! Massive well done to Rob and Alice for getting their first rolling start together too 👏

🥈 Cockney Mashup – 2nd Peaches, Nora, Ivee & Bowie

Another incredible team performance! First time racing together and they absolutely nailed it. Amazing handling, brilliant teamwork and lovely relationships between dogs and handlers 🐶❤️

🏆 Another Special Judges Award goes to Lily for line judging and learning how to scribe — she’s an absolute pro already! ✨

These foundation teams have only been together since March, so these results at their very first competition are honestly incredible.

Most importantly, we’ve had such a fun, supportive and friendly atmosphere all weekend and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved ❤️

This weekend we’re heading to Folkestone for competition weekend!

We’ll be joining our wonderful teammates at Shooting Stars and taking along one Open team and two Foundation teams.

We also have a few fabulous dogs making their debut this weekend, and we’re so excited to see how they do!

We want to wish all of our teams the very best of luck — but most importantly, go out there, enjoy yourselves, and have fun! 🐾⭐

Flyball is all about our dogs having the time of their lives — but for our team, it’s just as much about the people beside the ring too. The laughs, the cheers, the chaos, the team spirit… making sure our handlers are having just as much fun as the dogs is what our little flyball family is all about.
