At K9 Krew & Friends, we are the standard of reliability in Basildon. We don't just 'take dogs for a walk.' We execute professional, audited personalised care for our clients’ most valuable family members.

What We Are Looking For:
We are expanding our team of Professional Pet Specialists.
Because we hit the ground running, professional dog handling experience is an advantageous. However, your character is what gets you the job.

Our Ideal Team Member:
✅ Regards 'on time' as being 5 minutes early.
✅ Understands the value of precision. A 60-minute service is 60 minutes. Not 58.
✅ Has proven experience with various breeds and temperaments.
✅ Actually follows instructions to the letter—every single time.
✅ Finds comfort in our automated GPS and Timing system, knowing it proves their excellence.

⚠️ THE K9 KREW CHALLENGE (How to Apply):
We have a strict three-step hiring process. If you skip a single step, we will not proceed with your application.

1 Your name.
2 Why being "meticulously on time" is a non-negotiable rule for you.
3 One example of your professional experience with dogs and animals

Basildon pet parents — we’ve got your seasonal health checklist for this weeks hot weather coming up! ☀️🐶🐱
Keep water handy on warmer days, if you walk dogs in Fryerns and Pitsea try doing it during cooler mornings/evenings, if you can't avoid the middle of the day make sure to walk them in the shade and stick to grassed areas, as pavements are much hotter than the air temperature and paw burns for this are very real! If your dog is not to big to carry, try carrying them to a safe space or pop them in the car to get to a park.
Watch for local pollen spikes too (allergy sniffles are real), you can usually google for pollen count or use a weather app, some tell you pollen count too.

Happy 20th birthday to my first born Stefan!
Most of you know my son as he started working with me at K9 Krew when he was 16!
He has never stopped and since then he has become a really essential part of the K9 Krew. I am so proud of him, his sweet and hard working nature & love for all animals.
Here’s to the year ahead and last year at uni coming up!
So proud of you, my no longer little man!! 😘

Hi All,

Apologies for the lack of updates on facebook!
My health as not been that great at the moment, I also had an op recently so dealing with all that. Trying to look after myself and the family, although I think they have been very good at looking after me lately more so.

I also wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all those that have been in the know of my health issues or op and have been sending well wishes!! 🫶

I’ve been concentrating more on giving support to the team & clients when I can, rather than anything else.

There’s also been lots of changes behind the scenes, so things are being done that nobody sees in the front end. So we look quiet on Facebook but everyone in the team has been really busy!

Other things that need to be updated, etc have been falling a bit behind, but we will get there, so please bear with us.

I have spoken to most of you at one point or another but thank you for everyone’s support ❤️
We are coming up to an amazing 4 years of providing our community with great pet services! I had big plans to celebrate but unfortunately have had to put them on the back burner for now. 🥲 So it’s a bit bittersweet at the moment for me!

I also wanted to bring to everyone’s attention that we sent out a very important update email on the 31st of March.
I have become aware that some of you may have not seen it as it may have gone into junk!
If you didn’t see it and need me to resend please let me know.

It pertains to updates & changes so it’s very important all our current clients get it so there are no surprises and everyone knows what’s going on. 😊

Please bear in mind the notice below from Essex Police.

We have already been advising our clients due to harsh weather conditions. If you need any advice please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Lots of dogs struggle with the cold on their paws. Please also bear in mind the Sal on the roads if you walk where salt has been put down please rinse or wipe their paws when you get home.

The salt and harsh weather can cause problems & painful paw pads so it’s best to keep their pads moisturised with salve every day to help prevent this too.

🚨 Frozen Water Safety Alert 🚨

PCSO’s from Basildon Policing Team attended Northlands Park today after reports of children walking across the frozen lakes.

⚠️ Please remember: Frozen ponds, lakes, and streams have dangerously thin ice and are extremely unpredictable.

✅ Key Safety Tips:

Cold Water Shock: Falling into frozen water can kill within minutes.
Thin Ice: It may look solid but is rarely safe to walk on.
Pet Safety: Keep dogs on a lead. Never go onto the ice to rescue a pet.

If Someone Falls In:

Call 999 immediately
Do NOT enter the water
